20 Years of Bike Month at QEIIMC

This year marks 20 years of Bike Month at QEIIMC, a milestone made possible by QEIIMC's loyal community of cyclists. What began in 2006 as a small event has grown into a month-long program of activities in October, finishing with a breakfast where riders can refuel, connect and celebrate with everyone who rides along the way.

No matter your experience on two wheels, Bike Month is your invitation to get involved. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or considering riding to work for the first time, there are plenty of ways to participate. Take part in our Ride to Work Challenge, share your cycling journey through the Photo Challenge, or encourage friends and colleagues to join the movement through the Recruit Challenge. Click here to find out more.

With prizes to be won and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow riders, Bike Month is all about celebrating cycling and building a healthier, more connected and sustainable QEIIMC community.

Ride. Share. Recruit. Win.

Bike Month Breakfast

Bike Month wraps up in style with the Bike Month Breakfast, a celebration open to all riders. Join fellow cyclists for a well-earned bite to eat, hear how the month's challenges played out and find out who has taken home this year's top honours.

The Bike Month Breakfast will be held on Wednesday 28 October from 7:30 am to 9:30 am in the Nurses’ Quarters Garden, near R Block.

To attend, please register your interest below (registrations are essential).

No Bike? No Problem

Interested in cycling to work but do not own a bike? Staff who work on the QEIIMC campus can borrow an eBike or push bike for up to one month and experience cycling as a practical transport option.
