QEIIMC Circle Buggy Service: Supporting Patient Access During SCGH Redevelopment
This additional route is aimed to support patients making their way from the carpark to the hospital during the SCGH Emergency Department Redevelopment.
This service was introduced in response to increased walking distances to the Blue Lifts, following the temporary closure of the Green Lifts.
Initially commencing on Tuesday, 13 May 2025, the ‘circle buggy’ operates as follows:
- Tuesday: 8:00am to 12:30pm
- Thursday: 8:00am to 12:30pm
The service is set to expand as more volunteer drivers come on board.
Note: The existing buggy service, running 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays across the entire QEIIMC campus, remains unchanged.
