Corporate SmartRider
Save on public transport costs with the Corporate SmartRider, offering financial incentives for Department of Health employees traveling to and from work.
What is the Corporate SmartRider?
The Corporate SmartRider is a public transport incentive scheme for hospital employees. Staff receive an 18.75% contribution to their travel expenses from the Department of Health, in addition to the 20% discount already provided by Transperth.
Who is Eligible?
To be eligible for the Corporate SmartRider program, employees must work at one of the metropolitan hospital sites covered by the Access and Parking Strategy, including:
- Perth Children’s Hospital
- Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital
Only permanent WA Health employees or temporary WA Health employees with an employment contract of 12 months or longer, who work at a metropolitan hospital site covered by “the strategy” will be eligible to be part of the scheme.
Please be aware that an employee cannot apply for the Corporate Smartrider Card and retain their on-site parking, unless specified under section 1.3 in the below guidelines.

Use our online booking system to schedule an appointment with the TravelSmart team. Each day offers different times and locations on campus for your convenience.
Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH)

Appointments are available at Perth Children's Hospital in the level 5 Collegiate Lounge to assist with your Corporate SmartRider needs. Please print and complete the Corporate SmartRider application form before your visit. Arrive a few minutes early and bring the filled-out form with you.
Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH)
Location: Rejuvon8 Cafeteria - Level 8, G Block
