QEIIMC Trust Sustainable Travel Support Scheme

As part of the planned upgrade to the Multideck Car Park, upcoming works will commence in Car Park 1, including the delivery of a new visitor‑only entrance via Hospital Avenue. These works will require a significant portion of Car Park 1 to be used as a construction compound, resulting in a temporary reduction in available staff parking.

To help manage this impact, staff members who currently hold a valid parking permit are being invited to voluntarily relinquish their permit in exchange for fully subsidised (free) public transport.

The QEIIMC Trust Sustainable Travel Support Scheme will be available for an initial period until 31 October 2026. Participation is subject to eligibility criteria and limited numbers.

Staff who participate in the Scheme will be able to reapply for a parking permit upon completion of the QEIIMC Trust Sustainable Travel Support Scheme period. Reapplications will be assessed in accordance with current parking permit processes, and staff will be required to meet all prevailing eligibility and evidence requirements at the time of application.

This fully subsidised public transport option is not open to staff who currently have a WA Health Corporate SmartRider. This scheme is only applicable to staff switching from a parking permit to public transport as the emphasis is on freeing up car parking spaces onsite.
