Full train services will resume from the start of timetabled services on Monday 27 October.
Trains will operate between Perth and Bayswater stations approximately every 4 to 8 minutes in peak periods and approximately every 5 to 10 minutes in non-peak periods for the duration of the works.
Airport and Ellenbrook Line services will continue to operate to timetabled services.
During the shutdown, Train Replacement Route 901 will operate between Bayswater and Midland.
Since buses operate on roads instead of dedicated tracks, they take longer and are affected by traffic. During the shutdown, we suggest that passengers allow extra travel time.
Train replacement bus stops are recognisable by the red and white decals with “Train Replacement” marked on the stop.
During the shutdown, there will be changes to train replacement stop locations at Bayswater, Bassendean and Midland stations. Click here to view Station Access Maps for Bayswater, Bassendean and Midland stations.
For all other stations, check our Station Access Maps or speak to one of our friendly staff.
Due to restricted space, bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services.
Manual scooters are permitted on bus services at any time. They are defined as those that are powered by foot, are manual and are not propelled by a motor.
Motorised scooters are not permitted on bus services unless they are folded up and placed in an appropriately designed, fit for purpose carry bag. They are defined as powered by an electric motor, not fuel or other combustible liquids.
Please note that during peak times, PTA staff have the discretion to restrict passengers with an e-scooter travelling if they identify any safety concerns such as overcrowding. The PTA advises passengers using e-scooters to avoid planning their journey in the peak flow direction during peak hours to minimise potential delays.
Please note that normal ticketing applies to all train replacement bus services.
