Redevelopment at QEIIMC

The Queen Elizabeth II Medical Centre (QEIIMC)  is evolving and when construction is completed in 2016, will be the largest medical, research and educational facility in WA.

The redevelopment has delivered a new multi-deck car park, Comprehensive Cancer Centre, the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, PathWest building, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Mental Health Unit, Western Power substation, and a new Central Energy Plant. Construction continues on the Sarich Neuroscience Research Institute and Perth Children's Hospital, both due for completion this year.

The QEIIMC Master Plan (2010) can be viewed here. A new Master Plan is currently being created to guide the campus through the next stages of redevelopment.
